Hello Sam,

Could you please answer a couple of questions about the DRC?

1. Was it replaced because the original system failed?
2. Is the replacement system subject to the same potential issues as the original or is it uprated/upgraded?

Thanks.

Morning Bill,

Yes the original system would have failed requiring replacement parts to be fitted and the system re-pressurised. The work was carried out in 2013 by Camberley Audi at 52,574 miles, so yes, it will have the latest v3 version of DRC which came into effect Feb 2010. Camberley Audi along with Jack Barclay are generally known as being one of the best Audi dealers in the country for working on RS models.

My previous Blue RS4 did circa 45k over 5 years on the new v3 DRC before I sold it to the new owner with no problems. It's a great system when working correctly with the latest parts fitted.

Hope that helps clarify things for you.

Your last remaining RS4? How many did you have and are you a collector?

Just realised this car has exactly the same spec as mine. Looks stunning. GLWS

Thanks Norman, it was just the two B7's. I'm told that I do have a tendency to hoard things

I may be interested after the work has been done! I'm just too lazy to get it done myself!
