rattling front suspension

Service history does not need to be Audi dealer. The recent servicing on mine was by a VW/Audi specialist and the recall was honoured - one arm was replaced and a refund given towards the one I'd already replaced.

They gave you a refund for the one already replaced?!
Was this done by the independant and was the part bought from the dealership that gave you the refund?
If I had known this was occuring I would have taken mine in and shown the receipts from VAGparts for the arms but this is the first I have heard of this happening.

Thanks for Audi Cust Services number, I tried them and they reported... .it had already been done by the previous owner

I had the car in at my local garage this morning and lo and behold when i took them for the test drive to hear the problem, they couldn't hear anything...!

typical.
Anyway.. they've noticed a lot of wear in one of the anti roll bar bushes, and suggest replacing it, although they're not exactly sure that's the one. Speaking with Audi to get the replacement part they are asking whether it's inner or outer bush, and if it's the outer bush, you need to get a part that looks like a C bracket that has the bush built in.

Anyone got a picture of outer and inner bush, or the diagram from Bentley? I've lost my cd....
