I'll just spend time at home, walk the dogs, do the school run and spend every minute I can with my kids. How awful. Definitely coming along now Silas, looks great.

Modern renders are good but still have their own problems.

We finished off the lower half (top is tile hung) with a Parex render and whilst there are no shrinkage cracks, the rain this winter has splashed up soil onto the sides of the property and caused some unsightly staining to the render. The Parex rep who did a site visit before installation kindly forgot to make us aware of this fact, despite almost every elevation having flower borders up to them.
