Noise wise I'm very happy not too loud (yet) because I'm getting the 3" downpipes
Nonetheless there's def resonance in the and sometimes it's boring in large distances.
I should say that I use the car only on weekends

Ordered the resonated Supersprint today, figured if its not loud enough its easier to have the resonators cut out. I'll add the front decats when i'm ready for mapping!

Its arrived! Why anyone would buy a Milltek to save a few hundred quid i don't know. The Supersprint is a proper piece of kit and tuned to the car. Looks stunning too.

Hi A20LEE.

Did you get your exhaust fitted? I am curious to if it drones at all.

My res BN pipes setup drones at low rpm (1000-1300) and freeway driving rpm (2000-2600).

Yes its on, its loud on cold start tickover. After that, zero drone and all rpm's.

Personally I hate my non red miltec
Sets car alarms off on cold start
And drones like hell unless your well towards 100 mph, spoils a great car
Wish I had the standard kit to re fit
Ps my kids feel poorly after long drives saying the vibrations are annoying

I wouldn't have one for free. I've had bad exhausts in the past and they do ruin a car, hence i'd always spend a bit more for a quality system. Same goes for suspension, go quality everytime.

100% agreed mine is getting ripped off for a good one soon as i can afford too, the Milltek is 8 months old (not fitted by me) and has split both rear silencer boxes from shoddy welds and bad craft on the box itself they use 0.2mm steel so it just comes apart like a tin can.
I've had to have the silencers removed and replaced with pipe so its basically pre cats... pipe.... back box's and thats it, its awful i hate it! the sound is too deep and dull, the drone and vibrations are horrendous my previous standard system (on my other RS6) had no pre-cats no secondary and no back box's, this wasnt anywhere near as bad as the milltek and it was basically straight pipe!
