The spec isn't even especially 'mega'. Dynamic plus, granted, but no B&O, no pano for GT4 money?

I don't think the Titanium works particularly good on that car, looks much better on the black car previously posted.

Yes it doesn't look good with Daytona does it? I think its too light to work properly with black too. I feel those who like black with alu trim will like it Titan but those who like black with black will think its too light.

They're coming in thick and fast now. Usual reservations apply around wheels and it needs the black optics:

The beige interior seems to have had an accident. Got to love the stealers.

Marketed as an RS6 Plus too. Why can't these goons display an understanding of THEIR OWN brand and the products they are meant to be marketing and selling.

Surprised they didn't list it as an RS6 30 Jahre Edition.

LOL, yes it seems they want to make up their own names and ignore what Audi have decided.

I know it's a big car and lose value like anything. But no chance 55k after 6 months pay that for 3 year old car with a good few miles seen as most RS6 tend to be low mileage. I wouldn't even say 65k they hold value much better than M5's and E63's that's all I can say specced with ceramics will hold up that bit better, the dealers would still be selling that for 80-95k after 6 months and a few miles not many :bigblink:

Naaah - there's no way the ceramics will prop up the used value of these cars. I mean no way, infact quite the opposite - the ceramics are the instant loss on the car, you buy them because you feel you need them.

I have to say I tried to get them on my PE but unfortunately spec locked, extensive discussion tho is that the steels are defo as good. I can tell you this because I asked the guys making the warranty claims, i.e. the master techs at the audi garages. when asked, are people going through steels the answer was simply no, they aren't warping, or eating pads in a disorderly fashion. Ceramics look more special that's all (and is why I tried to get them) and the guys who are smashing their RS6's around the ring are going through really expensive pads and the odd set of discs at quite a pace.

I did spec the £6500 B&O system tho.... so who am I to comment. Ramics are a waste - but do look great!

This black one here looks much better with the Titan trim, probably because it is in a dark car park. I think a slight tint might be the best option for my trim parts.
Also note it looks like he has added a Performace badge to the rear.

Worth remembering that one of the biggest tangible benefit of ceramics is a huge reduction in unsprung weight and rotational weight, so you can certainly feel the difference
I went from a steel braked RS4 to a ceramic braked one and would never go back now, especially on the poorly surfaced roads we have in the uk
Plus, on the track, you get a lot more laps, whereas on the steel braked car, I was getting fade after about 6 laps at Silverstone, and an RS6 is significantly heavier than an RS4

Gone - 09/14 B8 RS4 Avant - Misano Red/Ceramics (Daily drive & kids taxi)

Current - 04/18 B9 Rs4 Nardo Grey

Yeah G, I know what you are saying, but I did one lap in an RS6 ceramics on the ring and we set the brakes on fire... and I mean fire.

Also buddy in your b8 I get it, the unsprung weight etc, but in the RS6 we need to get real, this is a huge and heavy car - it does very well to disguise the inevitable inertia of such a big machine, but mate a couple of kilos on every corner in a 6 makes zero difference.

Ramics are for the right car, that is not the RS6. I had an RS6 for 3 days and I smashed it, you all know me by now, I do enjoy a sporting drive, and i never ever ever worried about the steel brakes, I mean never. I was more worried about the gearbox and the nose that dips on air out of roundabouts.

oh and the fact it is a properly scary car.
