Had you sold to them, that car would be listed for minimum £65k on an Audi forecourt if not more based on the spec.
The £60k is therefore very cheap from a garage

It's bloody hard to sell a car at this value privately as so many pitfalls for buyer & seller. I'd guess the dealer in question would be selling it for John so not looking to make margin on the sale in the same way an Audi dealer would.Leo-RS wrote:John, Audi value your car at £57,400 trade price with 15k miles on the clock... Many buyers would of course pay a slight premium at this level to get the security of having an arse to kick if anything happens. Granted the car's got 2 1/2 yrs warranty left but often a better leverage if the car's been sold by a dealer should anything go wrong, plus you also have the benefit of some favourable finance options if bought from a main dealer.
John, what Porsche have/are you buying as i'm now on the road to acquire one early in 2017 when i've finished with my F10 M5.
That's quite some mileage. Is that dropping or are you planning on running that higher mileage in the C4S? Great place to do those miles from though. I've only done 21k miles in my M5 over 20mths & a load of that is track/Euro hoons, the rest of my mileage is monthly commutes from West Lancs - Suffolk to my Head Office. I'm looking at either a 991 Gen II Turbo or Turbo S. I feel budget constraints will put pay to the Turbo S, but running the numbers to see if it's possible.John S wrote:Hi PaulW8PMC wrote:It's bloody hard to sell a car at this value privately as so many pitfalls for buyer & seller. I have bought a new Carrera 4S. Funnily enough I sold my F10 M5 in 2013 prior to acquiring the previous Carrera 4S. The M5 was a stonking car but I had to sell it after 18 months as I clocked up nearly 70k miles in it.

Msg the owner on here and speak to him? I'm sure you could give you al the info you require. I do agree that the garage so be more helpful but if your genuinely interested contact the ownerRs6ixer wrote:I just inquired about this car, the dealer seemed very awkward on answering any questions, for me he does not know the product he is selling!
He also wants to service the car himself before selling, not helpful at all. He would also not commit to a check by Audi, told me his garage was good enough because he is VAT registered.
Totally put me off.
