Seen it in person on an RS2, S3 and both B5 and B8 RS4's, I just feel there's far better blues in the colour pallet.

Noggy is a creeper, like a right of passage.... from that very first day you saw it on an RS2, or an S4 B5 - with the terrible interior.

I'd say it's the enthusiasts colour....

....Most "noggers" begin life with Audi on an Avus Silver, maybe a Mugello Blue.... in that effort to just stand out a bit more from the Black, but gradually the growing enthusiast wants to shout out - make an impact, usually results in one of two options - Missano Red (Correct choice) Imola Yellow (Baaad Choice), now having had this explosion of expression the now maturing enthusiast goes safe, maybe even too safe, something mystical, needs to have sun to really shine - this is when you enter the Black phase..... but that inner Audi Geek Enthusiast is still inside you and needing to burst out it must find a colour that shouts out RS again and is true to the brand and history.....

....That my friends is when you find yourself ticking the £1700 box and selecting Nogaro Blue. Finally, just finally you got there.

Passion can cloud common sense but that's never stopped us guy's before.

I've mentioned earlier (picture thread I think) that Sprint Blue doesn't suit the RS6, if you want blue then Sepang or that Mystic one seems to work well. Call me a heathen but Nogaro just looks dead to me and I've really tried to like it.

Heathen!

Nah seriously, I had a sepang one and it looked lovely, Mystic looks great. For me I just want a noggy car, I spec'd it on the online config tool (took a risk), paid for the car and am awaiting build week. Thing is I went to see one afterwards and for me Sam I thought it looked the absolute nuts, I know it looked good because my wife who is against me buying anything with wheels and an engine, said wow.

When did I fall for Noggy, actually when I had an RS4 B8 Nogaro Edition, in the sun the pearl just rocks - and I remember walking back to it under them funky new LED's that the petrol stations have and thinking WOW. Before then I'd be with you, save the dosh and get the sepang, having had the sepang, and then seen a noggy in the flesh. Noggy all day for me buddy.

Different strokes for different folks, all I'd say is I think both Sheffield and Coulsdon have one in if any of those are nearby to confirm your disdain.

Nogaro suits the RS2, but it's a very flat colour and a car the size of the C7 needs some dynamism in the paint. The Nogaro Edition RS4 seems to work though, so might need to see one in the paint to decide for sure. Have they updated the paint since the original "RS blue"? I'm sure the technology has moved on a bit in the past 20 years.

erm I dunno about that - I reckon the choice is sooo vast that in the end you just end up going with one. Of course it is one you like, but then would it be a problem if it was one of the others you liked.

2nd Hand Colour sometimes in over-ruled by spec.
