Revolution Golf-R demo....
5-door DSG
Stage-1 APR remap
APR carbon intake
Milltek full system
Eibach lowering springs
19" Speedline wheels
235/35/19 Vredestein tyres
365bhp/380lbft
Drives better than the RS3 and just as quick now.
Engine lacks drama of a V8 or the 5-pot but goes like stink,
great mpg if needed and Haldex 4 is way better than the RS3's.
Excellent low driving position, but wish I could've specked buckets
8.5/10 so far....plenty of mods planned for it.
Lacks interior quality of the RS3 and 4's...
Hope feedback helps...

Re: RS4 to MK7 Golf R
Nice! I'm amazed how quick this car is with even just the Neuspeed Power Module. Can't imagine how amazing it would be with a proper tune, downpipe and exhaust. With that kind of power I would certainly need to budget for a new clutch though!
Re: RS4 to MK7 Golf R
I went from my Supercharged RS4 to a standard golf R.
Reasons such as I was about to buy my first house, girlfriend had and old fiesta so needed something a bit more reliable and safer to drive to work etc it seemed like the sensible choice.
By all means I am not knocking the R at all but after doing a trackday and having it for 6 months ive had enough of it and have genuinely been looking at buying another RS4 Saloon and the golf is up for sale.
Launch control is incredible, car was amazing round a wet Snetterton, lovely interior, WARRANTY etc etc but the car is so.... MEH. I love how few RS4s you see on the road and the golf R as previously said they did these lease and PCP deals and WALLOP there are 50,000 of them on the M1 everyday.
IMO dont do it, im glad I did but also regret it. Im about to lose five grand on it too.
