Couldn't agree more. I have both options and the wife loves to have the option to have the blinds up (ehrm should you say down?!) especially now when our daughter is only a couple of months old. What most maybe doesn't know is that you get the sunblind for the rear window (in the boot) as well.

I have the privacy glass on both the Porsche and the RS6, but I had to buy a silly strap over sunblind on the porsche that flaps at high speeds. The built in blinds are really helpful. You can't see in from the outside doesn't mean the sun wont come in strong from the inside. The kids won't look at the sun, but when they get hit a few times in the eyes with the sun they get frustrated and start complaining as they are restrained and can't turn their body. This is all speaking from experience not opinion

Solution: put your kids and your hoe in the Porker and tell them you'll meet them there, drive off in your '6 WOT.

Think twice before choosing the 21 inch wheels. While most prefer the look of the 21, I prefer the car on 20s. Subtle, stronger (forged versus cast), better ride and much lighter. Having driven both on air and DRC I am convinced the handling sweet spot is DRC plus 20s - at least on our crap roads.

Funny, I completely disagree. I never drove one on 20s but I drove air and DRC. I'd take DRC and 21s every time. Must be a right old sofa on 20s and air!

You should try DRC and 20s then
21s heavy old things. More tyre noise. Crashier. Albeit hard to spot the benefit in a 2 ton missile with the sports exhaust on
If you like the 21 wheels then fine, but I don't. But I bet the Audi engineers prefer the 20 for a number of engineering reasons. All I am saying is don't dismiss them. I prefered to spend the £1k on something else.

If unsprung mass was the primary concern then ceramics a must have...which I happen to have and likely more than offset the mass difference to the 20s. 20s just look a bit small, too much tyre.

Unsprung mass difference 20 v 21 = 13kg. Significant.
What do the ceramics save?
And does opting for ceramics save you £1k

Edited to add - Audi claim nearly 5kg per corner saving for ceramics. I only got 3.25kg by going 20s. So you win - at a price.

The 20's are not forged wheels and are only marginally lighter than the 21's.

I don't know where the report come from reference the 20's being forged but it's incorrect and in the new brochures, it says they are cast. Perhaps the very first RS6's had forged 20's but they are now definitely cast wheels.

I do think they are a nicer wheel but they are small in the RS6 arches.
