Just to clarify, I am not a car dealer and am not looking for any type of part ex.....unless it's a 997 turbo PDK.
Everybody seems to want to part ex!

So to summarise.. Audi full service history, just serviced with plugs, air con service and brake fluid change plus Audi warranty, plus brand new Rear disks and pads. (fronts still at 30%)
Worth checking when looking at other cars as the disks and pads are not cheap.

Ok chaps, this may help avoid wasted calls and messages from anyone hoping for a desperate seller willing to give their car away.
I am not interested in accepting offers a trade in prices.
I am 20 minutes north of Newcastle, As in Newcastle upon Tyne (The north of the country near Scotland) I am 15 minutes from Newcastle airport, just for info that's more than 2-3 hours from Birmingham no matter what you drive.
Any sale will be completed via bank transfer and the car will not be released until funds are cleared.
If you're looking to buy on finance, have that in place before arranging to view.

This is why private sales can be an utter ball ache. The jokers should just be ignored. It's a good example at the right price, just hold on for the buyer with the money.

Similar story for me at the opposite end of the country which is a bit frustrating - but as you say, that can be the way with private sales

It's a pity for all concerned really, because there are a couple of excellent C6s for sale at the moment with bullet proof Audi warranties (F15hars's and mine included) which may just end up going as p/ex, so they'll just reappear a few weeks later on a forecourt with an extra £3k on the price - everyone loses except the traders

I would have taken the £28k or traded it in by now TBH. £30k is a lot of money... Never a good idea to call someone a joker who offers quite near to asking price, might come back and bite someone.

Thank you so much for the insightful advice and totally pointless post....however if you take the time to read the above post you'll notice your error and realise that it wasn't myself who used the term "joker". It's a shame you didn't take the time to do so prior to posting your ill-considered juvenile comment.
Having recently spent over two grand on brakes and a major plug service, and the car benefitting from Audi extended warranty and full Audi service history there is a price that I am not willing to go below.
Others have posted that anything sells at the right price, I would suggest that if you're desparate enough for a sale you can continue to slash your price until somebody buys...I'm not.

Quick update..
The car has been at Audi Newcastle all week for diagnostic checks, Audi health check and a new 12 month MOT (despite having 5 months remaining on the MOT it had) to comply with the extensive terms and conditions of Oracle finance being used by another forum member.
Brand new new rear disks and pads just fitted by Audi Newcastle.
Audi only change the fuel filter at 60k miles whilst specialists would recommend to change it every 20k miles, therefore a new fuel filter has also been fitted today.
Air conditioning re-gassed/serviced and brake fluid changed (current promotion offer at Audi)
health check report available for any serious enquiries, the technicians at Newcastle Audi are now very familiar with the car and I'm sure would talk over it with anyone genuinely interested.
