Unfortunately there is some rear end damage to the car which wasn't apparent at the time of purchase but wasn't done in my possession so I'll hold on getting too excited. The Arnold Clark Sales Manager isn't in until tomorrow but I've sent the details across.

Possible but I'll have to make a far more informed decision mate, it's a cracker I think but will diagnose it etc and see what they say first.

For some small paint work and an intermittent fault, even though it has a warranty and I got it it below book?

Seems daft to me? It needs a little bit of paint fixed and diagnosed/fixed correctly. Seems a god car otherwise.

I'll see how it plays out with the dealer folks. :) I'm sure it will be fine.

Think I know which one you have bought, dark blue one?
Looked nice on the pics and I noticed it was a pretty good spec, with SS seats as well.
Seemed cheap I'd have said £3k cheaper than the rest but better spec!!
Hope you sort it out

Don't expect much help from Arnold Clark, customer service isn't exactly their strong point.

Just to add 99% it's fine, Vagcom here tomorrow, it's a high speed l/r exit that makes it limp, paint can be fixed, hopefully for free... :)

Oh and I've read thru the Siemens docs on it 13k pages, well skimmed, it's very simple compared to the current stuff. I might be able to make some treats for us.

Done it before on other cars, canbus, software, anti-lag, map switching, etc, etc, might be fun :)

OK VCDS points towards a faulty door sensor and a couple of plugs/coils, hopefully not earth shattering :) I'll leave them in-situ for the dealer.

I got through a few coil packs after I bought mine, one the day I picked it up. As you say heat brings the symptom out.

A healthy car will have a lot more than 333ps, some are 350+. Whether that is seriously fast depends on what you are used to driving!
