Daily Driver or Garage Queen?

Post by Mɐʇʇ » Fri Sep 18, 2015 8:38 am

How many people's RS6s live outside still, or are daily drivers? I've just promoted mine to live in the garage for the winter, but are many people still using them as daily drivers all year?

Mine's always been garaged. Hasn't stopped the engine components and bolts from corroding though.

Need to find a way to dehumidify the garage.

Daily driver, on the drive (no way it could fit in the garage).

Not a daily drive as it sometimes sits there for a week or two, but it won't fit in the garage either. May well put a cover over it during the winter months.

I've been through a few covers. The best one I've found to date is the £50 Halfrauds one. Seeing how long it lasts.

Not driven every day, no garage so she's on the drive. Always thought that a cover would be ridiculous money (never investigated though) £50 at Halfords sounds alright...

Mine lives in the garage, use her once or twice a week for work and on weekends. If the weather is dodgy, she stays indoors in the heated garage. :kissmyrings:

Daily driver (sort of - I have a number of cars and a work van, the RS6 gets used as my main 'other' car)

the garage space is taken up by a garage queen Sapphire Cosworth - To have 2 queens is ripping it
