hi all am still looking for my old rs4 with my private plate on.am looking to buy my old plate it is c20 jdc. thanks in advance with any help

Have you tried requesting the keepers details from the DVLA?

Explain your situation to them (garage sold personal reg on the car if I remember correctly) and see what they say about it. Then you just need to write to the current keeper and hope they will co-operate.
