Chunky Monkey! That was lovely chat! Take it you are dreaming of getting your hands of one of these bad boys! Maybe your willy will grow too! May have been a sh@T post but obviously there are a few different opinions <beep>!

In all seriousness Edward, if the horsepower figures aren't all that important to you, the response and improved mpg is probably worth the 5 pence per litre more
Leo in almost a week I have filled her twice. Both times with super. I will keep doing that but it was worth the post as you can see it has brought up a few different worthy opinions

I concede that you will probably not screw your engine on 95.
Blow engine using 91 - Link or it didnt happen! :)

Im sorry, I was referring to values for C6... perhaps C7 manual states something else.

Chat? I wouldn't mind a C7 (bad boys?) at all, but not dreaming of one. If I was to have one I'd spec it better than yours anyway. I'm happy with my "skip".

Oh, naughty tinker words just come up as <bleep> unless you're clever!

My bad, it was 93 Ron:

I'm not totally sure but it looks like it might have been running a map so I guess it's irrelevant.

Even so I think 91 RON must be close to spontaneous combustion! I know you wouldn't put it in your car. I'm not sure where you'd even find it for that matter!

Briefly looking through his thread Id say there could be lots of other contributing factors. If mapped for 98 and then running 93 then yes perhaps it could have made a difference. But then he would have had knocks on all cylinders, not only #1.

I certainly wouldnt put in my car, indeed. Smiles, not miles, per gallon, as mentionned.

Bit like engine oil, all will go in but only some will be ok in the long run. For literally a few pence, why even consider anything other than super unleaded.

You 'own' a £80-90k car and now quibbling over a difference of £3 a fill up?

It has probably depreciated more than that within the time this thread has been in existence :nodder:

This made me laugh. Nice thought. A quick fag packet calculation tells me I have lost at least £50 today in depreciation since this thread started this morning.

Don't know of an emoticon that depicts laughing and cringing at the same time but fair play to you RS6 guy's :thumb:

Believe me, not jealous of you one bit! You can't even spell it you tool

You even have to try and make yourself sound "cool" by putting an o at the end of your name.

Oh, putting the air con on will use more fuel too, you keep worrying about the pennies while driving around in your schlong extension.

Glad the other C7 owners on here seem down to earth and don't try to belittle other enthusiasts.
