Hey TAB1S

I've come across another set, this time being offered ET29ers with 265/30/20 boots. My suspension setup is standard as far as i know.

numpty question, but from your experience what needs to be done for me to mount these in terms of offset spacers/spigots?

cheers

With 265 tyres I'd be careful with spacers as you could get rubbing. I believe people have run 265 or 275 before with no rubbing but it could be close.
You will need spigots if the centre bore of the new wheels is 66.6. If the centre bore is 57.1 you won't need them.

As MikeFish said bud just spigots.
i have no rubbing at all, iv even had my old set of 19's in the boot with tyres to deliver to there new owner!
All i have done is remove the small screw from the front arch liners top centre folling advice from these guys.
im not 100% but i would imagine that my set up would be slightly harder than the original set up as im on MRC fast road but mines also lower so your OEM set up should be fine.

I've used all of the above at various points without any issues. Most recently I bought from ebay seller "tyrespecialists".

Yep tyreleader are hard to beat on price. Think I got 4 eagle f1s in the size you want for about £780.

Tyreleader:

Dunlop Maxx GT - 169ea
Conti Cont3s - 182ea

Not much in it, but wanted to ask is one better than the other given they're so close in terms of price?

You want 255 30 20 to be the same radius as standard or 245 30 20

I went over the size options in post 5 I think. I said 255/30/20 is the one you want.

I did mention in my last post that I bought some the same size as you for £780 but I meant 255s not 265. I did run a set of 265 without problems but there is obviously less clearance due to the extra width and height. In fact I think the extra size makes the speedo more accurate.

The 265 also seems to be a less common and more expensive size. At least that's what I found when I was (briefly) considering 20's.

I'd go with Mike's advice; 255/30/20 GY eagle F1's

remember i have standard suspension setup so is there still potential issue going with 265s ...
