i dont want to sell a duff product,
im certain it will be fine as its a pretty basic part.
the only thing im cautious of is matching the ports correctly, the the spacers will match to the gaskets and then to the block (which will be able to be seen before the inlet, but i want to make sure it lines up exactly when the inlet is fitted also.
i am yet to get to the bolt man to get longer bolts for the inlet and the throttle body
ill be as quick as i can, but want to be thorough
I'm not sure. If these fit ok without problems ill make a set for the 6 if they are different.Farravi wrote:Rick_RS4 - I am interested but I have a RS6 C6, surely it can't be that different to a RS4?
Aside from the fact that each spacer on a C6 will have 5 inlet holes in it rather than 4 for a V8, I really don't think an intercooled turbo car will see a measurable benefit. I'm not sold on the idea of them making an appreciable difference on an NA car either (something like a cold air feed will drop real intake temps by a lot more) but at least at 100 quid it's a cheap enough mod to do if you're doing a carbon clean anyway.Farravi wrote:RS6 C6, surely it can't be that different to a RS4?
Rick_RS4 wrote:I've just paid for the setup and CAD drawings the company say they should be ready by the end of the week.
I'm away in Wales at the minute and will collect on Friday if we're back in time. Then I'll lift the inlet off in the week and see how they fit .
Pics to follow by the end of the week
I don't have much expertise in regards to the spacers, nor do i know much about RS6 engines much, so will humbly bow out from my earlier submission, i will go with someone who does understand and from what you've said, you seemingly do.JCviggen wrote:Aside from the fact that each spacer on a C6 will have 5 inlet holes in it rather than 4 for a V8, I really don't think an intercooled turbo car will see a measurable benefit.
