New BEASTY Ready!!

Post by CaptainRS4 » Mon Jun 08, 2015 3:47 pm

Had a Call from Dealer informing me my new BEAST is ready!! Should get it end of this week, early next. Only Ordered in Feb, didn't really want it till end of July (as have BMW M5 on lease till then) so going to have an overlap!

Will try and become a bit more active on the forum. Usually hang out on the RS4 section (Had my B7 nearly 5 years now - still loving it)

Can't figure out how to load images - sorry. Can anyone kindly offer some help?

Captain, a beautiful looking car,I have sprint blue, same wheels and callipers, picked up in March. Had a B7 from 2006 ( new ) until Oct 2014,had to go ,done 128000 miles, but oh did it hurt, then a B8 until the C7 came along. It will be interesting to get your objective views on the B7 and the C7. Whoever designed the B7 was a genius,ok we are 8/9 years on,what's the difference, well I think mainly computers, the engine on the B7 was fantastic, the sound on the C7 is not the same, despite mine having the sports exhaust. Under heavy acceleration you get torque steer on the C7 ,be careful, and the handling is not in the same league.however for some strange reason I've got really attached to the car ( weird)hoping you do too, especially with an m5 as well,so let's have your thoughts.

Thanks for the comments mate. Will defo post my thoughts once I have driven it a few weeks. But you are right about the b7- they got is soooooo right with that one.

I was hoping the noise was gonna be nice with the sports exhaust? Might have to have a Millie fitted then!

Talking of attachment - It never happened with the m5. I won't be sad to see it go. Too skittish and forgot it in anything other than bone dry conditions - all that power is unusable. In the wet a fecking corsa can beat you off the lights!!
So looking forward to the traction and stability of the Quattro.

Cheers

Lol. When you expecting yours then mate? I take it you went for exact same exterior inc Gloss 21" Wheels and red calipers?

When I ordered it I just imagined it to look awesome - and it has not disappointed! Some do not like the Nardo grey Colour - but I think its very different.

Will post more pics once I have my hands on it :biggrin3:
