Awe S-Flo intake

Post by parmd » Wed May 20, 2015 12:01 pm

Hi all,

I don't have my car mapped just yet but does anyone have any experience of the Awe S-Flo intake and if it's worth putting on an unmapped car ? Thanks in advance

I've already contacted AWE the intake is for the RS7 not the Rs6 but I've had a price back and been told it will fit the RS6 quoted about $1300, 20/25hp.

Would you mind sharing your experience, sound, throttle response etc when you get it done? Thanks

I'll have a hunt around, thanks for that just trying to avoid a remap for the next few months but the tuning bug is alive :biggrin3:

Got my finger out and fitted this today...

First a bit of stripping and nice to see the plumbing in the old girl. Simple install, good fit, 20mins job. Results? Zero effect on the noise (from inside anyway), but that probably because the Akra is all you hear...but have to say it does feel sharper. Spoke to AWE a fair bit about it as its the first one in the UK and they were keen but they 'claim' plus 20hp. Who knows but it looks good.
