Specification:
The factory specification includes: 2.0T FSI petrol engine, 6 speed manual gearbox, S-Line sport suspension, 19” alloys, half leather interior, Bang and Olufsen sound system w/ CD changer and ipod connectivity, audi multi-media interface (MMI 2G), automatic xenon headlights and LED running lights, fog lights, dual zone climate control, front and side airbags, isofix, alarm & immobiliser, split fold rear seats, voice control, multifunction steering wheel, trip computer, bluetooth, rear parking sensors, electronic handbrake, electric windows and mirrors, auto-dimming rear mirror, auto-wipers, traction control, ABS.
In addition, the various things I’ve done to the car:
• Revo remap to ~285bhp. There were three levels of tune offered, from memory; ~265bhp (any 95 RON fuel), ~285bhp (any 98 RON), ~295bhp (shell 98 RON only). I chose the middle option, and have only ever put tesco 99 or shell 98 in the car since.
• Privacy glass
• Upgraded 6000K xenon bulbs (for crisper white vs original 4300K bulbs)
• Debadged rear
• German style plates (have standard UK plates too)
• Calipers painted red (done at a large well known bodyshop in Croydon)
• Tune2air bluetooth module (can wirelessly play music from your phone on car audio)
• 15mm rear spacers. If you regularly take rear passengers, I’d say it’s best to go down to 10mm, I do get some rubbing against the inner arch liners over severe bumps, especially with rear passengers.
Maintenance:
The car has done very limited mileage during my ownership, only 5-6k miles/year for 3 years. It has only ever been run on 98 RON fuel (has to take 98 RON due to the remap). I believe I have taken very good care of it, being a big time VAG car fan (have owned 2 polos, a mk4 golf gti, and a B6 Audi S4 prior to this car, used to go to shows/meetups etc. Buying another Audi next) It has been serviced at an Audi specialist I’ve known for several years, Mastertechs in Wimbledon, as I know they will do a good job having maintained my previous 2 cars as well. The guys are all ex-Audi, with many years of experience. All servicing has been done on time, and any small maintenance issues attended to immediately.
As well as the mechanicals, the paintwork has also been well looked after, and is in excellent condition. I have only ever hand washed the car, and recently treated it to a full professional machine polish to get rid of any minor marks prior to selling. There is a very small chip to the paint on the rear bumper, but otherwise no damage. I use a lambswool mit, 2-bucket method, grit guard, pressure washer and good products to wash. I occasionally claybar the car, and try to keep it waxed. The wheels unfortunately had a hard life (my wife drives it too), but I’ve had them all refurbished prior to advertising, so are unmarked and as good as new now.

Misc details:
I have owned the car for 3 years now, and took a flight from London to Belfast to go get it as it looked so good! It had to be registered with the Great Britain DVLA upon arrival in England (a separate body to the Northern Ireland DVLA.) I chose to keep the Northern Ireland plate on it rather than assign a new registration number, as the NI reg hides the age. Please note that the car does not count as an import for insurance purposes, as it is a UK spec car and has always been within the UK. Another quirk worth noting (which looked odd on the HPI check when I saw it), is that it has had several changes of reg number under the previous owner. He assigned 2 different private plates to the car, and each time he removed one, the Northern Ireland DVLA issue a brand new reg number rather than reverting to the previous one. Odd way to do things but there you go!
This is a quick, practical and comfortable car. Relatively economical too. I used to own a B6 S4 (4.2 V8), and this does not feel much slower following the revo remap, which was the very first thing I did to the car! It handles much better than the S4, since it is over 100kg lighter with better weight distribution due to the light engine, and much better suspension. However it will return 40-50% more miles per fill-up.
Please PM for more details/questions.
I’m based in Surrey, and available evenings and weekends for viewings. Might be interested in P/X for a MK5 Golf Gti DSG 5dr, but nothing else.
