Was still wavering this morning, until I spoke to the dealer. Order is frozen and can't be changed. Panther Black it is!! Build week moved forward to week 22. Have been told it will be a 2016 car - not sure what this means!!

Not sure how all of this works, but believe that my dealer got hold of an existing dealer order within the Audi UK network, which was still "spec amendable" (at least until today). He nabbed this for me a week ago and it was amended to my specs. Good effort from my dealer! Sorry to hear about those who have been waiting a long time for their RS6.

Cheers

J
I would yes. I ordered mine last weekend from scratch, and gave them an 8k deposit for a week 20 build. So I would give it a go, you never know; it does seem that build slots pop up all the time.

Top one is matt nardo - which is pretty fff'ing nice. Probably the only matt colour i would go for.

no idea on the red, but it looks decent... not that i could ever keep a car that shiny.

I think the gloss Nardo looks good already ;

Not sure I could deal with the hassle of Matt paint on an everyday car. It'd be ruined in weeks with me

Sorry for the dumb question but what is 'gloss' Nardo? It looks incredible, if a little 'CGI'

Is it a treatment or a different colour altogether?

Gloss being Standard Nardo (i.e. shiny)
Matt being non shiny - and blimmin hard to look after

Lava Grey C7 RS6 is rather elusive in captivity if Google has anything to do with it, although this earlier derivative looks rather nice don't you think?

Jamesch wrote:Thanks for the responses so far to my original post. Seems there are a lot of fans of Panther Black and Nardo Grey out there. But what about Daytona Grey? Is it a good colour for an RS6. Would be good to hear some views from Daytona Grey owners out there if possible?
I took delivery of a Daytona yesterday, with the black wheels and black gloss pack. Totally happy with my choice. Pics to follow soon when I get a chance.

For me it was Panther vs Daytona, and the decider was the fact that every time I have a black car I curse the way that a single spec of dust makes the whole car look filthy.
I know I'm swimming against the tide here, but I don't think the blues really suit a car of this size; RS3/4 definitely yes, RS6 no. As for nardo and white, well they are just repulsive IMVHO! I did see a silver on the road and it looked much better than I expected.

However, I would prefer you to choose Panther on the basis that mine is also "on the roads around Guildford"!

That Matte Nardo pic looks nice! I've got the Matte Daytona, which was a compromise as my wife wanted Nardo, but I didn't like it and we were on the way to order one in Sepang, but the dealer had a 10 month old Matte car they had just bought back from a customer. We both thought it looked stunning so bought it there and then as spec was nearly identical to what I wanted. No wait for build slots etc so I got the car about 6 months earlier than I thought. Result all round!!

Nice! I want to see pics, for me the gloss daytona is very GREY, however i bet the matt looks amazing.

I struggle with anything gloss grey as the wife's golf has that colour.
