Thanks for the responses so far to my original post. Seems there are a lot of fans of Panther Black and Nardo Grey out there. But what about Daytona Grey? Is it a good colour for an RS6. Would be good to hear some views from Daytona Grey owners out there if possible?

Daytona looks amazing in that highly polished form I've seen on various vids.
Would be my second choice along with a blue. I have gone for Nardo for its individuality.

I am not making a personal attack on you; this is a forum, and the way these things work is that when people have contradictory views, both parties are allowed to express them.

You say I have absolutely no knowledge of you but I know two things: you have stated that you have had your windows tinted beyond the legal maximum, and you posted that the tint was: "enough to keep prying eyes away". That sounds like a fair amount of tinting, to me. So I have enough knowledge of you to post a response to these statements. I haven't commented on your house, your wife, your lifestyle or anything else about which I do indeed know nothing.

The law has made a judgement on how much front windows can be tinted without impairing vision. You came onto a public forum, described how you had broken the law and I responded to that statement as it is an area of law-breaking that particularly annoys me as a biker.

This was comedy gold, ever accelerated a bit too hard, to find some rampant activist that was hiding in the leaves - usually driven by jealousy, has to then come over and make a strong point (I could refer you to the Road Rage incident in London Recently).

You make choices - and then you live by them - live and let live..... I had to read the times of the posts just to make sure I wasn't reading drunken "dreaded-send" ramblings....

An opinion was asked, and answer given, which was then argued heavily "thanks for your opinion, but you SIR are a....."

BTW I am in no way even going to enter into a tinted windows discussion.... but just for a chuckle on a Sunday Night:

What I will however comment on - I think Nogaro suits the RS6 like mad, if I had the money - this is what I'd buy:

Otherwise Panther - that colour ROCKS in the sun

Look how dark the rear window is on the Nagaro 6
Maybe the rears are darker so you can't see the annoying bloke on the bike riding within an inch of your rear bumper, it's safe for the rear why not the sides, it's so the police can see who's driving More like.IMO that is :nodder:

I've seen the car in the pics, and it's lovely indeed
I couldn't live with the silver interior though, Black all the way for me. I think it looks better and a combination of kids, bike and dark denim jeans would kill silver leather off in minutes.
FWIW, I'd have a similar spec to your configuration should money be no object, but in Suzuka grey and with the carbon pack rather than the black pack
£111k is a lot of money though for something that's worth £50 in 3 years/60k miles

Gone - 11/06 B7 RS4 Avant - black/black (Daily drive & kids taxi)
Gone - 05/13 B8 RS4 Avant - Suzuka grey (Daily drive & kids taxi)
Gone - 01/14 B8 RS5 Coupe - Short term car
Gone - 09/14 B8 RS4 Avant - Misano Red/Ceramics (Daily drive & kids taxi)

Current - 04/18 B9 Rs4 Nardo Grey
ZX10R Race bike - 210bhp and a few skid marks on the seat ;)

Will someone please order an RS6 to my spec. as per above - and then when you are finished get in contact with me..... That just looks the absolute nuts to me. I've a noggy itch that needs a scratch

I have been told their's a plus type car coming, no ideas what it'll be but expect close to £100k, maybe with something a bit different, like the seats and 600PS.

Thanks, but I already have a pretty great one. My life will no doubt be enhanced, though, when I get to read your first polysyllabic post.

If I order one boff would you mind if I tinted the windows very slightly. It's only cause my missus likes to stroke my third leg in private whilst we're cruising.
