Next thing on the list, armrest cover lock snapped..

Post by Mr Footlong » Sat Apr 18, 2015 7:47 pm

Hi guys. another niggle that needs to be sorted. the front lock on the armrest cover broke recently and it is most annoying. I have seen a few posts on here but an not happy with anything other than perfectly matched leather. Does the £100 (most likely more now) mentioned for the top part including the front locking clip? I have to assume so based on the design.

Thanks.

I use the armrest box so often that I don't reckon a fix will last long enough. I need to take it apart and see if I can do a discreet repair while also toughening it, bit of an ask I reckon.

Had the one side of the hinge fail but not the front clip. How's the leather top fitted to the lid?

Haven't really looked too hard tbh, pretty sure it it the side of the handle that has snapped where it clips in. Will take a pic if it really tickles your giblets darling.

I haven't looked in detail at what broke, was too p!ssed off when it happened to look and been too busy since.

I have access to a 3D printer so if it needs a component to be replaced ill try make one.

Girlfriend needs her arsehole reconed, if I send you a wax mold can you print a new one for her? I'll handle the installation and testing.

Thanks.

I will be a saddo and look in as much detail as I can be bothered, at the differences between the C5 and B7 armrest clips when I fall out on to the drive next.

Bam, I need that Bondage, sorry, Bondic in my life. Not a sniff of it on Amazon UK though. +1 on replacement Female fun parts but surely you would want somebody else's opinion on the workmanship on woman? I am practically down the road.
