Audi UK are non the wiser than your dealer.

There where delays at Emden due to high winds which means ships were held there for a few days. Mine was released to ship on the 27 March arrived to port on the 4th April.

Nastro - I would definately get your dealer to make further enquiries

Boff, no, no special order.
I did ask my dealer last week and they told me that as it's an RS it doesn't show up on the usual Audi list regarding dates etc. and that it could 'just turn up'.
They are sure it will be this month though.
I've given up hoping now. It'll turn up when it turns up..... :|

So mines in Quality control? still at the factory i guess, but reading on here who knows - Audi City still hopeful for the end of the month.

living with my wife's Golf is getting tedious... chuckle - but she has had:

A Full Service
2 new Tyres
4 Glow Plugs
Discs and pads all-round
DSG Gearbox oil change
New Battery
Pioneer CarPlay Stereo

Funny how having to drive the mrs car focusses the mind on clearing out the bugs and rattles!!! It nearly got revo'd last week until the garage dosed me up on a glass of sense.....

Probably best ahem, that it does arrive towards payday!!!

Bored Bored bored.

Just a point, which I feel like making, my mother in laws Mini was built in Austria - when built they photo'd it and sent the picture to her, it was photo'd on the Eddie Stobart Transporter that then drove from the factory to the dealer in one trip - i.e 2/3 days sort of thing...

.... What is it with this mental Audi ship to port, hang around, sail, hang around, ship to dealer? Surely that leaves the delivery open to many more errors. I'm tired at the end of my working day, but fiscally, there's a lot more people and process involved in the Audi Route, and many more variables / risk?

Built Drive Truck PDI Drive is surely better, Not Built Drive Truck Drive Park Drive sail Drive Park Drive Truck PDI/Repair Drive.....

... Although I'd have hated to be in Europe awaiting my new Range Rover or Jaguar when that ship sank.

A few guys on here have had their cars go into QC. Its a pain but least you know your car will be spot on.

I think the logistics of Austria are different. Nearest port probably somewhere near Crotia and would also mean sailing all the way around Italy to get to UK. This maybe why they use the transporter direct from factory.
