Colour Advice - Something Wild

Post by Dallas83 » Sun Mar 29, 2015 4:48 pm

Hey Folks

New to the forum here. I've ordered a Mythos Black RS6 last week with quite a few different bits and pieces - should be Sept before i get it.

Over the last couple of days i have started thinking that i should have gone with something a little more on the wild side, something different. Ive seen green and all different blues, but does anyone have an orange colour they would like to share pics of or any other colours that are rather unusual ?

Thanks
Dallas

Audi do some great purple colours imo http://www.autogespot.com/audi-rs6-avan ... lin-purple

Not too wild though. I think yellow always looks good on RS cars. Not a fan of orange or green

M1RXE - My mate had an aventador that was orange and I loved how the colour just popped! Was thinking that maybe that colour would look good on an RS6. The purchase was a bit out the blue really as I had my eye on something else but once I drove the RS6 I knew that I was going to get one. Initially thought the all black would be rather stealthy , but then started thinking maybe go with something a little more unique. What colour is yours ???

Hi mate mines on order and similar to estoril blue. And orange would look very wild in a good way i think aventador orange is a good shout or a stealthy matte that hasnt been done yet. As you correctly stated something that hasnt been done yet will be a good start and keep it individual. :biggrin3:

I went with Misano Red which is a 3 stage paint on the RS6 (so "slightly" more orange than their standard misano colour) and paired this with black optics. Gives you an idea of the look. My fiancé wouldn't let me get anything more exciting

Please also don't pick Riviera Blue as I'm also in North East :)

Here are some orange examples of last generation RS4's.

SOAB Riviera Blue was going to be my next colour, grrr - Porsche man at heart and it was between the RS6 and another 911 (RS won on a more practical level)!

Merlin Purple's always been a favourite too :( ! Just wondering if i can live with that Orange everyday.

ALMORS - Did you buy your one off JCT600 or buy new ? Seen JCT down south had one for sale a couple months ago...

Yes, I bought the one that JCT600 had and because it was Riviera Blue. Only 2 that colour in the world apparently

If you like Orange you could go for something a little more reserved like this

Aventurin Orange
