Ok I'm defeated. What does this button do / how do I use whatever it does!

What I press it I just hear "cancel" said over the mmi.

Voice control. Next time you press it say something

You can select people to phone by talking to it and select CD and radio etc. A bit of a gimmick really. I never use mine

As leet says voice control .. I used to have hours of "fun" sat in traffic pressing it and saying random things and seeing what the car did

Are you sure? It's not the same as the voice control picture I've seen on others which is like a person speaking:

And when I press it (hold it or otherwise) it doesn't mute the volume to allow me to speak like others I've used.

It is voice control on 2G as well, think they just updated the icon so you can actually guess what it might do.

It is rubbish though, have also played with it. Call home, navigate home, etc. None worked until I told it to f*cking do one and then it called home.
