MRC VISIT TODAY......AWESOME!

Post by BubbleRS6 » Tue Mar 17, 2015 11:40 pm

Had my C6 booked in for stage 2 today, what can I say except simply amazing. Doug was great, did an initial power run and then had the gearbox and ecu map installed. The end results were 718ps and 1042nm torque. The car is totally transformed, gear changes are smoother and power is ridiculous, I thought it was quick as standard but it's like a different car.
Well done Doug, another satisfied customer. :jump_clap:

Good move mate, sounds awesome. Are they rotors you are running? Do you have more pictures of your car you could post?

+1 on the difference the stage 2 plus the gearbox map makes. Had mine done a year ago and never looked back ....although back there next week for the pre-cat delete plus the H&R anti roll bars with the KW coil overs just for good measure!
Currently floating along in a 2020 Magnetic Grey Bentley Continental GT & bouncing around in a Navarro S3 black edition
2009 C6 Avant NR Milly, MRC Stage 2/gearbox, MTM 21'' bimotos, H&R arb's, KW coil overs, 756ps & 1085 Nm (now in Simon’s safe hands)
C5 RS6+ No 315 in Metallic Silver (gone but never to be forgotten)
S8 V10 awesome engine but taxi-like gearbox - had to get back to RS motoring
C5 RS6 in Avus Silver - the 1st RS experience

Blimey that needs a clean :D

+1 on the transformation to 700+ps. I drove a few standard cars before buying mine (already MRC'd) and they felt quick... until I drove a mapped one. Pow - sit down!

Was spotless when I left home, drove 20 miles in the rain and look at it, the other 100 miles was dry roads. They are rotors from an rs5, were on it when I got the car. Can't drive it today because of work but really want to. I still can't get over the difference, my mate came with me and he has a stage 1 gtr running 600 ps and he said it definitely felt quicker than his. Going to santa pod on saturday so that should be interesting. Will post up a couple of pics later marc1.

Top man! Looks great. Sepang is an amazing colour. Be interested to see how you get on at Santa Pod. Are you going to race your mate with the GTR at Santa Pod?

Yeah I'm not so sure I would want to launch it in that case either then.

Had a brilliant day thanks, met some great people from here and got 3 runs in. Done an 11.6 and 126mph quarter. There was only one road legal car that got a better time so well happy.
