If it had 2 turbos bolted on I might have. I am back dreaming about 911's now. There are a good few on the net and the prices have definitely gone up even in 3 months. The price of a good 996tt is just about the price of an older higher mileage 997tt. I am in 2 minds on what to go for. I don't want it to feel any more dated than the rs4 tbh so may have to go for a 997. Just don't know. I was set on a c6 again earlier in the week :(

My mate has a 996tt with the x50 pack and it sticks with the rs6 (standard) all the way up to the limiter (~180) but he kept going, 200mph on the clock.

It sticks with the standard rs6? The 996's are fairly easy tunable arent they? I might be going to look at a 500bhp 996t next week. 200mph!

But a mapped rs6 will do 200mph. With a dog in the boot if needed ;)

Hence the move to the rs6 :-)

I just want to get it handling a little better...

I don't exactly need the space but I might miss it at the same time. I don't know what is more appealing to me, the handling or the space.

chris_m wrote:As title really, are there many in here from a b7 rs4? I have been considering myself as I just cannot ignore the figures that get thrown around in here. I really do love the b7 though and I am finding it very difficult. I have even thought about keeping the rs4 as well but I just don't know if i can justify it. Does anyone have any advice even if not from a b7? If you are from a b7, are there any regrets? I have seriously been considering supercharging the b7 but i just don't think it is the way to go for me.

Cheers.
Chris - I sold my B7 last year and miss it sooooo much. I'm now in a position to buy another one but I do like the sound of either a C6 saloon or a new shape RS5.

It's a hard choice and one I'm going to take my time about. The C6 + on auto trader mentioned earlier, I'm going to have a look at as its only down the road from me but not too buy (famous last words).

My advice - don't rush and test drive all options. For me this next car has to last me some years as I won't have this sought of money again for a few years to buy an awesome machine (House buying early next year). Good luck buddy.

This is about the longest I have owned a car never mind not got bored while doing so. I too think I would possibly regret selling up because I still love the car. I am being unrealistic by considering trying to have the 2 together. I too am looking to sort a house out some time soon. For some idiotic reason, I want to put a second car first

What a dilemma...
