Just popped into my local dealer briefly - lovely cancelled facelift order in there.

Was in a hurry so no photos, but it's blue (presumably sepang) and I think it has 'ramics. Nice. Very, very nice.

Sorry, bit rushed earlier.

Was in Basinggrad. The spec (as quoted - caveated as ever!) is actually:

Sepang Blue, Pearl Effect
Silver-Grey Leather
Rear View Camera
Dynamic Pack
Advanced Key with Hands Free
21x9.5J 5 Twin Spoke Alloys
Sports Exhaust System
Without Trailer Hitch
Panoramic Glass Sunroof
Heated Front and Rear Seats
Inlays, Piano Black Finish
Cloth Headlining
Audi Connect

So no 'ramics after all.

Whoever ends up with it is very lucky indeed!

So far the Pirelli's seem to be a bit better than the Dunlop's. The other thing I've noticed is the MMI is better. Now all that's left to do is try out the new headlights tonight :biggrin3:

Congrats, the car looks spot on. The pics of it really show off the sepang blue. I'm jealous now. Enjoy.

Thanks for the comments.

As far as the MMI is concerned, I play most of my music through SD cards. The display for this is much better and there are more options available. I took a couple of photo's of the new screens, those who have the pre face lift will know the difference.

Before it never showed the album artwork and the display for track info was not fully screen. You also never had the search options in the second picture.

Also small upgrades in the cabin as it now has strip lights down the side of the central console, looks good at night, see below.

Image

The best bit though is the LED matrix lights. Best way I can describe it is there is someone sat in the light unit with dimmer switches constantly adjusting the lights. Even when you behind someone it lights up the area around the car in front without any dazzle. Although opinion is split on the looks you can't deny how effective they are :beerchug:

Yep, just got home and I am amazed at the matrix lights - they alone justify the long wait since last February when I first decided to buy an RS6.

One question: all the literature says that the infotainment lists are shown in the HUD but I couldn't see any evidence of that. Anyone know how to make that happen?

One disappointment for me is the steering wheel: I can't see the point of a flat-bottomed wheel when it's not a racing car and it feels all wrong when you need to go beyond 3/4 lock. Would have so loved to still be able to specify the round, heated wheel. Apart from that, it's all good. Not sure I strictly stuck to running-in rev limits, though.

That is a great car in a good colour combination. Got the sepang with mat alu on my RS5 but seeing yours with the black optics just brings out the car.
