I looked into the Carbon collective products but didn't find anyone near me.
I have high hopes for the Gtechniq treatment, it's bloody expensive so I really hope it will be worth it.

Finance figures are the same too
£7500 total discount is about right in the market if you push hard, remember though that the £7.5k includes £2k from Audi (so it's £5.5 from dealer + £2k from Audi). The 10% referred to previously is the discount before the £2k contrib from Audi, so yes 12-13% is deemed as the 'max' available.

The challenge for you now is to try and get £7500 contrib from the dealer, then get the £2k from Audi added on top(!) with the low 4.9% rate, so it totals £9-10k discount.... If you manage that (like I and also copperband did) then you're ahead of the game! ;) :D
Thanks for the advice. Appreciated

Apologies, should have mentioned the actual discount i have been offered by DTD & Orangewheels which is £7917 on the OTR price of £60671 on the spec I want

Just waiting back from another Dealer who has stock RS4's and is able to supply a factory order in April

Exciting times!

Wow, that's a big spec. A big increase on the one you posted originally.

Any thoughts on my spec>? Anything else I should be adding?

Rather like the gloss mirror caps to go with the black pack BUT they come as standard on the B8 Black Edition Plus, so thats putting me off a little

Carbon inlays or piano black? Just can't make my / our mind up

It depends on your budget, but I went for the tech pack and don't regret it, I added side assist which I also find useful. I also had the roof and like it but would put the tech pack before it. If I had bigger cahona's I would've probably done without sport pack and gone for an aftermarket exhaust, the main issue is the steering, I have it set to dynamic because (for me) it's the best of a bad job, but it is heavy though someone suggested it's far better on 19's which I can believe.

After lots of research, in my opinion the Sports Package, Storage Package, Privacy Glass, Heated seats and Hill Hold Assist are essential for resale appeal.

To be honest most of the other options are fairly subjective and down to if the owner will use them. I looked at them in two ways, what options would be essential for resale, and what would be nice to have toys.

I have the convenience memory pack on mine which I didn't think I'd use that much, but it's very handy, especially the memory seats (two of us regularly drive the car so this saves worrying about readjusting each time) and the auto memory mirrors which dip and fold.

Btw, mine has Piano Black Trim which I think looks a bit classier than carbon and works better with the black package.

:)

My thoughts are that the Driver Assistance and Convenience Packs are essential. I've got to disagree about the Sports pack - I'd spec the V spokes and sports exhaust separately and do without the dynamic steering and DRC. I think the pano roof makes a big difference too. It's a tricky one with re-sale - do you spec the car you want or spec it for the next owner?

Out of interest, when does the B8 RS4 order book close? Has to be in Q1 this year I'd have thought?

I think Hill Hold is worth the £65 simply as it means one less blank button.

The car rides better through bumps and is less ' crashy' on 19's, but the difference in steering is marginal in my opinion having driven both
