You should check out the spec before making comments like this - if you add the extras to a base model it retails at £72k - it looks awesome too. And they are doing big discounts - got mine go £60560

And what's money for apart from spending and having fun

if you got a good deal great the colour is nice but a pain to live with shows every scratch on the lacquer i had it on my B5 RS4
Audi have lost the plot IMO with C6 RS6 plus an other parts bin special with a limited edition plaque on it that will be a premium that you very much sir
to me they should have been a bit of a power hike to make a bit more special but if you are happy with the car and deal that's the only thing that matters

Yep they have lost the plot.

Quattro GmbH used to stand for something special

RS 2
B5 RS 4
C5 RS 6 Plus
TT quattro Sport 240
B7 RS 4
C6 RS 6
R8

But then they lost the plot

Yes all those listed had their issues, but there was something about them that made them special / exclusive / a bit mental

Now you have a Q3 RS and a Nogaro Edition RS 4 .... Pass

extra power would've been nice and I admit some of the extras are probably things I wouldn't have chosen like carbon in the engine bay and speed restriction increase to 174mph - don't get much chance on the commute to the station ; but the dynamic suspension plus and steering , sports exhaust add to the driving experience and I love colour both inside and out .... I specced up a basic model and it came out at £62k , this was cheaper with the discount so went for it.

All my mates love the exterior colour , split reaction on interior - I guess it's like marmite you either love it or hate it .... I'm hoping that paint technology has moved on since B5 so it wont show the scratches so much but guess only time will tell.

Precisely

Look at my car history, and now the only Audi's currently in production that float my boat is the C7 RS 6 which is too pricey for my blood currently.

Other manufacturers now offer more attractive qualities for me

F TYPE R Coupe hits all the nails on all the heads

And 5,000 miles into 2014 XF Portfolio S ownership, it has completely beat all expectations I had for the car and I'm certain exceeds the ownership experience I could otherwise have had if I was in a C7 3.0TDI S-Line avant, this despite the fact the current XF is a generation behind the C7, will an all new car not long away

I had a look at Nogaro edition in Swindon Audi just recently, It looks mile better in the flesh than photo's and I think the colour really suits the car.
The interior is marmite, but it looks good in my eyes and again, looks miles better in the flesh than pics, just a little impractical with kids and muddy bike kit, when leather's way easier to clean.
Not sure having the plaque saying it's a limited edition adds much to the ownership experience, but I suspect it'll certainly help come resale time
Not sure why anyone would expect more power from the edition though, it's not a plus or track model, no ?

Personally, I really like the Noggy edition

Imo you've got a great car, love the colour and also like the interior, quite surprised people don't like the inside!
Ive also got a Nogaro RS4 and love the blue, really hits you in the face.
All the best with it

You had low expectations then :). I like the XF but it's still a bit "old man" in my opinion. They do have a good kit list. XK-RS would be fun.....great noise.

Had a good look around the Nogaro one in Aberdeen yesterday and might be the lighting but the colour was ok but i much prefer the sepang blue of mine to the pearl effect of the Nogaro and really not a fan of the V spokes they look to light a wheel for the car but that's another thread and as had been discussed the interior is a bit marmite

but i must admit your pictures the colour looks much better than the one i saw of might of been the showroom lighting

There was a sepang blue ltd ed in the showroom at the same time, but side by side the Nogaro was the one for me - it also attracted the most attention. And I like the V's better than the rotors ...... At the end of the day It all boils down to personal taste , if we all liked the same thing it'd be pretty boring ....

We should all just respect each other's choices, like the red one on the other thread - it's not for me but I wouldn't slag it off.
