I had the opportunity to spend quite a lot of time in RS models at Oulton earlier in the year, courtesy of a motor racing friend. The Audi drivers felt that the car was best suited to Bridgestone's (there were two of them there), they felt that they provided the best grip and ride, though of course wear would not be a factor for them!

They are the S007 and are 265. I've got them on mine and done just shy of 10K miles since May and they have been fine, plenty of miles left in them too...

That's not my experience with the F1s. On my B7 RS4 I've had:
PZeros from factory - totally crap IMHO, poor and inconsistent grip under all conditions and only lasted 9k miles
F1s - quietest and really good grip (even on snow and ice) and lasted 13k miles
PS2s - same grip as the F1s but a bit noisier and also lasted 13k miles
Sessantas - soft sidewalls made cornering feel a bit weird but grip was always there and lasted 17k miles
PSS - noisiest of the lot but amazing grip in all conditions and still running theses after 10k miles with loads of tread left

I've just picked up my new car and it has the Bridgestone S007 on.
To me they look like they have only 5mm tread vs the normal tyre tread of 8mm. I know the Michelin cup sports have only 5mm in them.
