I recently purchased a 2004 goodwood green Audi S4, with 93k on the clock (don't flame me for the colour

I came from a 300 bhp Mitsubishi lancer evo 4 and so when I test drove the S4, undoubtedly I absolutely loved the way it felt stable on the road, loved the build quality, and really liked the interior, the recaro leather and carbon fibre inserts really set it off. was very impressed with the speed of the car, didn't think it would be so rev happy either. I would say its quicker than my old evo. considering the weight disadvantage the audi has, I truly was amazed.
Any way the day after I bought it, the car went into limp mode and was misfiring like hell, not happy, rang the independent dealer I bought it from who was very helpful he told me to ring audi and find out if the coilpacks had been in for the recall. I was a bit sceptical at first. rang audi Northampton who checked the car and indeed stated that the car needed the recall. I ended up taking the car to audi who treated me like I was buying a R8, very impressed, got the car back after a complimentary valet, running sweet as a nut. and I didn't pay a penny was told 5 of the 8 coils were not very clever at all, so now I have 8 brand new updated coils and a reflashed ecu too boot.
have gone through 2 tanks of fuel in the last 4 days and it hasn't missed a beat. bit of a story but there you have it!
