B6 S4 Avant

Post by graney15118 » Sun Nov 23, 2014 6:56 pm

Selling due to being on the lookout for a B5 RS4 (if anyone has one they want to trade with)

2004 Audi S4 Avant
Private S4 prefix Plate (if wanted, I'll knock £300 off the car if the potential buyer doesn't want it)
87,200 miles
Partial Audi history, independent after that and self serviced for the last 3 since I have owned the car (this is documented in service book)
HPI Clear
Misano Red
Xenon lights with washers (LED sidelights also)
Front fogs
Electric Recaro Back leather/cream Alcantara interior, recently professionally cleaned, all electrics work fine
Fridge in glovebox
Heated seats
Bose Stereo
Ski hatch in rear seats
Boot roller parcel shelf
Full rubber mats including boot loader
S4 door sill trims
Original alloys recently refurbed (5 alloys including spare)
Decent tread on all 4 matching tyres
11 months MOT
Milltek cat back exhaust (sounds lush)
B7 RS4 front brake set up, recent discs and pads (discs were used but from a forum member, no warping or judder, loads of life left and pads were obviously new items)
Set of new rear discs and pads to fit when they are needed
4.2 V8 with regular oil changes (Castrol edge 5w30, always kept topped up to correct level)
R8 oil cap (pic shows standard, I have that still too if buyer doesn't want the R8 one)
6 speed manual
Quattro (although most of you will know that lol)

Bad Points:
1 stone chip in front drivers wing
Scratch to underside of rear bumper (drivers side behind wheel)
1 alloy has some kerb marking (just after refurb too!!)
Slight Plasti-dip peeling on climate control buttons
One of the rear seat unlock handles has snapped, it's still manageable with pliers at the moment so not rendered useless, but I'm on the lookout for a replacement
I think thats it!

£6400 o.n.o

Or if someone has the right B5 RS4 and you want to do a deal.......

Met Sam D a few times who bought this lovely example back in 2006 Audi Approved, he had it approx 18 months, came in very handy taking his wife to hospital in the snow one February after her waters broke! Don't recall it being on RS4 brakes, they must be since, nice upgrade

Haha, small world!

It's always weird when you see your car somewhere else. Yeah I've had it the same amount of time actually, it had the RS4 brakes on when I got it, it certainly does stop on a dime!

Like I say, it's a shame to sell but I'm in the position where I can get myself into an RS4!

Cheers

Was the exact reason it was traded into Audi when Sam bought it in 2006 - the person had upgraded to a B7 RS4.

Haha, seems to be the natural progression of S4 owners! I did fancy a B7 for quite a while but I have always liked the B5, and I like the rarity of them too, think I've only ever seen one on the roads where I live

Possibly have a forum member coming to have a gander on sunday, but it's still here! Grab yourself a very tidy S4
