Super Charged RS4 B7

Post by frank » Thu Nov 27, 2014 12:19 pm

I did it! Heres a link to MRC's video. I am the first to trial MRC's new Launch control and flat shift. Picking her up Saturday :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzVINENfrQs&sns=em

After alot of pain after a ham fisted mechanic busted my engine loom, MRC came out trumps and sorted it and supercharged it while it was there.

I believe the numbers are 604BHP and about 458ftlb torque.

Thats with a 200cell cat so a few more to release one day.

This thread needs in-car on-road footage! How do you adjust the LC?

Doug said its something like tap the brake twice then the clutch 3 times, rev to where you want it and tap the brake again. I think that is right.

Yes I have Go Pro ready to go so will get some at some point. It would be rude not to do a darford tunnel run too huh.

I was hoping that'd be a supercharged car. What clutch are you using to manage the launches?

The clutch is the LOBOS sachs 6 paddle option with dual mass delete. Its nasty for daily driving trust me on that. Heavy and on/off.

Price wise I don't know yet I haven't paid them.

Hmm... maybe a little extreme for just showing off every once in a while then.

Sounds immense. I kinda see how the launch control works, but what about the flat shift?

For the puny amount of miles I do in it I can't say I care about how awful the clutch is. I think the awkwardness of pulling away adds to the enjoyment when I do drive it.

Flat shift, basically keep your foot planted on the throttle when changing gear, I believe it cuts ignition but leaves fuel so that when you come off the clutch there is no delay. If I went full precat (got 200cell) it would flame nicely.
