Mines used to be quiet inside but since the paintjob and deleting the deflectors I get a lot of wind noise top end. Above 180 its almost like the top off the door is gapping and the wind noise is intrusive.

I found that as well at ~180, thought the door was about to pop open lol

Ended up with 573ps / 881nm with great curves. Feels great on the road but weather and traffic has stopped me checking o er 170

Re: RS 51X CS,daytona avant
It was sitting at 950nm initially but the box never knew what the <beep> it wanted to do. My fault because id told grizz I wasnt interested in figures and just wanted a decent torquey motor. Dropping the boost and the torque to 1.2bar and 880nm smoothed all the curves out and gave me a far broader range and its sooooo good on the road. Back up the shetlands tomorrow though

That's the best place for a car to be good, on the road...
No matter where you go, there you are.

Nice results, must be a blast to drive now! You heading up this way in the RS? Give us a wave when you pass Wick

Not the drag strip? I hear they even give out little slips of paper after each run, to help clean up the jizz when folk take 0.02 seconds of their personal best....bam_bam wrote:That's the best place for a car to be good, on the road...

0.02 seconds could cause an aneurysm, they don't have slips big enough for those clean ups.

Cheers Si, its easy to see on the graph where and how the car feels better. Dropping the boost and smoothing the curves makes the acceleration relentless, like standard but more basically.
Car doesnt come with me up here. Stays on my brothers drive until I get my unit sorted out lol, can only just fit the TT in just now. Need to get the TT out to strip down and the RS6 in for winter

I think Daz has some turbos fitted from The Turbo Engineers, hence the big numbers at lower pressures.
Looking at your dyno run there, it's a bit of an odd spike in torque between 2500 and 3500.... Was the car mapped before you had the Milltek fitted?

Re: RS 51X CS,daytona avant
yeah it was mapped before I bought it at QST. I then took it to MRC for stage two where they removed the cats and fitted a Miltek and mapped it again. Do you reckon I should get them to look at it again?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: RS 51X CS,daytona avant
I would - either reduce the load at 2800 or increase at 3500 to smooth things out.
I'm not a fan of humps like that... For me, it looks like it hasn't got the turbo under full control during spool up. Could be a worn N75 valve or a quirk in the mapping.
