FWIW, my RS6 has an APR stage 1 map, MTM ITG air filters and secondary muffler delete.
I ran it up on a Mainline AWD dyno with Shell V power which showed 584 bhp at the wheels and with 19% transmission loss 710 bhp at the engine.
Very close to claimed figures by APR. Maybe more at the engine if transmission power loss greater than 19%.
Runs 11.7 second quarters on V power. 11.4 secs on 104 octane.
cheers,
john

Hi Doug,

Yes, it was running on Shell v-power. I'm suspecting it might be a combination of an iffy RR and a leak somewhere??

Afternoon All,

Just to follow up on my thread from earlier in the month. Having taken the advice from many on the forum I've just returned from an early morning trip to MRC. Doug was able to work his magic and after a stage two (and gearbox) remap, the car has been transformed.

After an initial health check Doug was able to explain that the MTM remap was very high on initial boost and would then drop off hence the low figures. After a few runs on the dyno Doug managed to create a much more linear power delivery. I'm really pleased with the final result - 726Ps and 1054Nm.

Unfortunately the drive back was very wet and foggy, so no real chance to play properly. However from a couple of gentle runs the power delivery and pace are crazy........!

Doug - thank you for your hospitality this morning. I'm sure I'll be seeing you again! ; )

Andy, best you sort out the exhaust and air filters before mapping it again.

What did Doug say was the starting figures? Did they match up with the previous numbers you had?

Check this out... 656... it's a far cry from the MTM quoted numbers.

@ kent_andy - Do it. If your MTM setup is anywhere similar to mine you'll notice a huge difference with the MRC map.

@ Classba - Thanks for the comments and your advice, its much appreciated.

@ MikeFish - The MTM figures were nowhere near the quoted 730 figure. I can't see how they sell a 730 package that comes in so much lower in reality?!

As I mentioned I'm very pleased with the MRC end result. Now when's this torrential rain going to clear up so I can go out and have proper run?!

Thanks again for the excellent forum advice.

While I was looking at their page I had a little rewind to see my car on their rollers... brutal!! Must try and post a link on my build thread.
