One of the boys in the office was after an A5, don't ask I tried to tell him..............

Told him to call Kings Lynn who beat the best price he had been offered by over 2K.

Quick update- had an email from Audi to say that the fiancé campaign on the 2015 car hasn't been released yet. Hence if there are changes (there will be on gfv) the finance will be recalculated on delivery. Even the dealer/Audi contribution is not confirmed.

Long story short this may be the shortest potential ownership of a car ever and I may just get an amg

From Audi as in your dealer or Audi UK?

I've signed my paperwork and it's all the same.

Going to buck the trend here but Derby came up trumps for me and matched DtD which kings Lynn wouldn't do. That said my dealings with KL were fine and I would rate them above a number of others, it's also likely that as I'm fairly local to derby they pushed harder.

That surprises me, I've not seen anyone come close to KL.

So what's the bottom line in terms of discount people are getting (if taking finance)?

I gather it is somewhere in the region of £3k from Audi and £3k from dealer. Total £6k off the list price?

Can anyone share their exact numbers? And Apr rate if applicable? Understand if people don't wish to share this however. I've seen elsewhere talk of a £4.5k Audi contribution if finance taken on the new A6, but can't see any evidence of this.

In short, you need to push harder. The best I have seen is 6% plus the 3k from AUK. I have seen no mention of an increased contribution from AUK.

Apr should be standard which is 4.9.

I now understand the £4.5k. Audi's latest A6 campaign has changed, now 2250 from Audi UK and 2250 from dealer. So contribution is down.

To share figures with you guys, I achieved the following:

Audi Finance Contribution: 3,000GBP
Pre VAT "Adjustment" of: 5,416.67GBP (6,500 equivalent)
APR for PCP at 4.9% (from memory)

I'm not keen on PCP deals, so the dealer has put my final payment balloon at 3,000GBP by putting maximum mileage per year to "depreciate" the car as much as possible, therefore I get the benefit of the Audi Contribution but with a almost like-for-like PCP / HP loan.

Cheers
Lewy
