I was in there the day after, friday. How did you get on in dealing with them ?

What kind of discount did they offer on a car they had in stock ?
They were absolutely great -

I have to declare that I am a "related party", so they may have gone out of their way to give me the 5 star, diamond encrusted service. Although looking through their customer feedback, "exceptional service" appears the norm.

The car is on an "employee" scheme and therefore a really cracking deal. It goes back within 6 months, 10k miles to be sold as a "ex mangers car". My role is to be a good custodian, gently guiding the car through its early life, so it can be the pride and joy of its second owner.

They are some good discounts around, but as many have said before they are subject to Audi deposit support.

So I will say what I got from Glasgow Audi, this was after calling the sales guys bluff that 5k total was the best deal I would get.

5.5k discount
2k finance contribution

So 7.5k total off 63k car. They matched Dundee, I recon if I had went back to Dundee I may have got more but Glasgow close to me.

I am tempted by finance (PCP), but it's the monthly payments for that type of car and interest you have to pay out that puts me of.

3rd fill up - 202 miles done (showing range of 5 miles) and swallowed 58 litres of Tesco's finest (to the brim)

Feel like it's loosening up a little (perhaps it's just me easing up)

Bloody noisy on startup in the morning (and first 2 mins of idle)

You should hear it at startup with a Milltek! I've had comments from both neighbours......

Likewise, I have mine parked in a courtyard & I actually cringe if I need to start her up any earlier than 7am. No one has said anyting, but I can feel the glares from the surrounding apartments.....

My gf also comments that she has about a 5 minute audible warning when I'm picking her up! :biggrin3:
It's all torque talk.

Nicely run in now 1500+ miles, 300 mile run today, crappy motorway journey, a few quick blast

25.9 mpg

Really starting to gel with it, feels as small as my golf gti (down country roads) and about 3 times as fast
