2003 C5 RS6 avant Daytona grey

Post by dubbed_up_daz » Sat Oct 04, 2014 12:29 am

pretty much straight copy and pasted this from audizine

Here for sale from the UK is my Audi RS6 avant. Finished in daytona grey with black leather with silver highlights. It is fully standard except for an RS6+ flash map(480bhp). I bought this car as a parts donor for my other daytona RS6 avant due to it's recently fitted reconditioned gearbox, its immaculate front end, immaculate interior, factory 19" RS6 wheels(mines came with 19" MTM alloys)and the factory fitted interior carbon pack. Due to circumstance almost everything I planned to take from this car for my other car has either been replaced with new or uprated parts so this car is now surplus.

GF03 as it sits has 114,ooo miles on the clocks with audi history to 80k, reconditioned box fitted in the year previous to me buying it, unmarked leather interior as per photos including factory carbon pack and alcantara roof and pillers and obviously all factory fitted RS6 specific body panels. The bodywork obviously has age related road rash but as per pictures is very clean for its age. It is actually a far cleaner car than my 80k car was when purchased and with the modifications and upgrades I carried out on my personal car compared to this I am kind of kicking myself as I could have bought this car initially and saved myself massively but hey ho.

Bad points :- I picked this car up from the p.o. because after swapping a D2 S8 for this he ran it for 18 months with no issues then had the box let go which he fixed then almost immediately afterwards he had error codes appear for lambda sensor failures. He had the two lower easy to reach lambdas replaced but the error codes and limp mode persisted and the garage he had trusted to do the work insisted that the cure was engine out and replace the last two lambdas. At this point he gave up and presented the car for sale and I bought it,as previously mentioned, for a parts source.

The car has subsequently sat in my brothers drive for the last year while events unfolded with my own avant. It has been regularly cleaned if infrequently started meaning the battery has also died but after finally deciding to sort out the situation we placed a battery from his car in mine and it started first turn after nearly a 5 month hiatus.

I will work with whoever wants to purchase this in whatever means necessary, whether that means driving it to a port of their choice if foreign or mot'ing if UK domestic but all shipping or collection(if dom.UK)is up to the purchaser.

I am located in central Scotland in the UK between Edinburgh and Glasgow(15minutes from Edinburgh airport) and can be reached best through my e-mail - dubbedupdaz@googlemail.com.

As for shipping,I do not know the costs involved for shipping a car to wherever you may be and it gives me no other options. The cost for the car is 5000 and this is in great british pounds(GBP),shipping costs are down to the buyer although I will cover the cost of getting the car to whatever port required(I will have to fully road certify(UK MOT)insure and road tax the car for this).

Replied I think. Had quite a few emails about it but nothing definite. I know the no available history is an instant faux pas for rs6 buyers but the price reflects this. All audi history should be available on request from them and im working on finding(refinding) the po to get what receipts I can from them. The zero history is the main reason this is the cheapest available C5 rs6 as you can see the condition from the pictures

I'll check my others and spam folders matt. I have had quiet a heavy email I terest due to advertising on audizine which diverts you to another site and most contact is made via email from there on in. There are 6 guys interested in taking it to the usa and ive had four 'definite' sales from the uk so far. Seemingly its sold and im awaiting a cash transfer tomorrow.
