In due course Bam. Maybe a C6 meet is imminent in the future. :)

Sorry Bretto... not meant to hijack :bigblink:

Yeah Bam, you'll see Classba and I on the 1/4 as soon as Saki and you sort out your dyno shoutout, with Arthur at the controls!!

Will have an update soon.

Honestly, I don't give a sh1t about quarters. I just pop into threads now and say "yeah, yeah but what does it quarter mile at..."

I'm loving this thread though.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Golf, why are you so fixated in the 1/4 mile time?. For me anyway, I'm not a bit interested. Maybe you are REALLY buying a C7 hence your input. :bigblink:

Oh BTW, we are not doing all this to try beat a tuned C7 and if I wanted to do that, I would had bought a C7 to mod the arse off it. :biggrin3:

No mate a quarter is a good comparison in terms of real world performance. Rolling road figures are just half the story, would be good to know how much quicker a 900 bhp c6 is as compared to a 700 bhp one

The C7 is untouchable, amazing times for just a stage 1!

Back from Spa and Ring trip, and time to get this thread back on track.

With the downpipes done, I had some specific requirements for the rest of the system.

- Must be 3" (to match the DP's as I will be going hybrids in future).
- Must not drone / boom (no low speed high gear, or high speed high gear drone like some of the off the shelf exhausts).
- Must be configurable to pass MOT, as the DP's primary cats have now been removed.
- Must fit properly (not sticking out too far and not miss aligned from the rear).
- Must not have huge back boxes that are larger than OEM.

Surely not too much to ask ! BUT, luckily classba had already worked with these guys on getting the sound right with several iterations of sizes, backbox design, resonators etc, so I had a good idea that it was going to work.

Result !

Custom 3" system, decated primary (downpipe) and secondary (straight through midpipe), resonated (could have chosen non-res):

And for MOT time, standard cats fabricated to be installed with full system in place, and within 1 hour:

(I had run over a garbage bag and burnt it into the cat, hence the black marks on one of the cats).
