Face lift will be probably 1K GBP more .. dealer and finance contributions are (currently predicted) to be NOT honoured .. so FL means to us "unaccepted orderers" 5K to 9K GBP more money we have to find ...

is that simple enough ???

However IF (<<CAPS) Audi honour the contributions and also absorb the price uplift .. I'll eat humble pie and apologise to all
If that was correct then i totally understand, but good luck to any Dealer who'd accepted an order off me & taken my deposit & then came back saying the order book's closed, my order didn't count & if i still want an RS6 i'd have to spunk up a <beep> load more cash.

Not only would they need surgery to remove my order from their arse, but Audi would NEVER see any business from me again.

I'd suggest a browse through the RS7 brochure. More kit as standard (and a lot more than ze Germans get - not even Bose as standard!).

Head up display is standard on the RS7. Seats are available with black stitching as standard. A number of the options are packaged.

Best news of all, a sensible array of colours available.

How much is the RS7 over the RS6?

You say rare, but there are a surprising quantity available used.

Very colour dependant and the rear is a bit fugly.

Couple with dynamic plus pack too.

I think they are actually longer than the Rs6?

Are they lighter than a 6?

Wow

Would have thought lighter than the 6?

Like the 7...but not convinced it's aggressive enough looking for a RS model.

Would look at one personally for a replacement for my C6.
