That's the info that I've also had from my dealer.

They've taken up my fight and asked that my car is MY15, it was going to be scheduled in the last throws of MY14. Jog on!

Seems my dealer is being kept in the dark then. Or I am in order to try and get the car delivered and not leave them or Audi with a pretty face lift they need to shift.

If they had just been up front with me about the dates when I ordered I would just have waited. I'm having an RS6 regardless, but messing me about over this doesn't inspire me to think about the new R8 over a GT3 when I'm ready to fill the next garage space in a year or so.

I believe the GT3 horse has bolted for new orders, R8 due to be announced next year, but appears to be development of existing car.

Either way, being d*cked about and fibbed to about timing of new model arrival on this car does not endear me to Audi when it comes to looking for a 2 seater fun car.

QQ; anyone know the difference between an assigned vs tagged order?

as assigned doesn't seem to mean it has a build week allotted.... so bit confused by the difference on that PDF.

As CO2 official output is for a specific tyre fitment, it will be interesting to see if the 21" wheels take the RS6 back over the 225g/km threshold. If so, that will be them ruled out for me (that makes them £4000 wheels over the time I expect to keep the car).

Still we will find out next week when spec is firm and ordering is open.

Does the current model have a different co2 value listed on the v5 when ordered with the 21's as opposed to the 20's?

I think that, as of Sept 1 this year, CO2 is adjusted for the tyres fitted at the factory - but don't quote me on that. If I get the chance, I will see if I can find the source for my assertion.

I agree, it does appear to have been poor form regarding all these RS6 orders

I can see it states 223 for the RS6, but does that figure change if specced with 21's as opposed to the 20's? If so, where is this information available?

I may decide to spend the moeny from alloy upgrade elsewhere on the vehicle and then buy some of the other wheels afterward if its going to bump it to the nexttax level.

I can imagine that items like configurator, brochures etc will not be available until after the public unveil in October. However if the publication is correct in its timings, then it would appear that cars will be available to order next week. How they will manage specification items without having a brochure though will be interesting. Probably require half an hour sat down at a pc in the dealers looking at their system.
