The problem is keeping up with the demand, Audi are over 10,000 units ahead of BMW, and 20,000 ahead of Mercedes so far this year. The gap is only getting bigger and will increase further.

In other words, they can't build them fast enough, every target/forecast has been annihilated, not sure if them selling 100k a month (RHD cars) in China has a knock on effect on the UK market either.

Still no word on A6/S6/RS 6 ordering this year.

And this is the problem. They've forgotten how to manage the premium end of the market. Pissing customers about who have ordered a car at the thick end of 100k is not good business.

the China cars are made in China.
Agree that they will loose touch with the "premium end" of the market, but tbh, it doesn't matter to them, A1's A3's A4's A6's TT's Q3's Q5's all on PCP is what makes em the money ... RS's are simply halo products to make the lemmings want an A6 S-Line Ultra piece of <beep> 2.0TDIe 99MPG 99CO2 rep mobile FWD understeering piece of crap

(I post this reply as a person with an RS6 on order (no build date confirmed) and I am very much excited by the prospect of owning it).

Your post - with it's deeply misplaced sense of superiority over those whom you describe as "lemmings" - simply reinforces what Jeremy Clarkson said a while back about Audi drivers. It is sad that you find it so easy to deride those who cannot afford to drive as nice a car as you (I assume you have a C7 RS6 otherwise you look even sillier than I thought).

And, while I am being blunt, if you think that the RS6 is anything beyond a dolled up version of the same 2.0 litre Ultra that you so clearly find beneath you then you clearly know little - probably sweet FA - about cars.

You have misinterpreted my post.

I drive a V10 R8, as I can't afford a C7 RS 6.

I think the C7 is a fantastic car and in no way a dolled up 2.0TDI.

What saddens me is Audi selling 140,000 cars in the UK which save for R8 and C7 RS 6, I find dull as dish water

Thinking that the rest of the Audi range is dull as dishwater is a valid opinion, I haven't driven many so I can't comment. However, that's not what you posted; you said the drivers are all lemmings (following you in your R8 and dreaming that they ,too, are living the RS dream, you style icon!!!). And then you poured scorn on their cars because they aren't as nice as what you drive.

You were pretty offensive, frankly. And your follow-up post is a bit lame.

Sorry to hear you can't afford an RS6, but I admired the way you made it clear that you look down your nose at even that car as you drive an R8. Ohhhhh, and look, it's a V10. Lovely.

Agree with doodlebug couldn't have put it better my self. Do they even care anymore about this sale I got pissed about previously by one dealer rang up another garage explained situation said can I transfer over to you he said why would you want to do that.?? I explained everything is it me or do these 100k sales not matter anymore I'm not saying we should be treated differently not at all but they don't seem to care, and this is frustrating I don't want to keep waiting around for a car that I want if come next march and its not even here or they do something else and cock something else up. The way they're going on at the minute wouldn't take their word for anything unless someone like amar confirmed it. Would be great if we all C7 waiting customers could comparing together but then I think will they really care and make a difference.

One thing I still find odd, RS6 removed from the configurator, but A6/S6 remain. I still feel like there's half a story being told here.
