RS4 B7 Daylight Running Light LED Conversion

First post on the forum so apologies if this has already been covered.

Just got a RS4 B7 Avant and the daylight running lights bug me. They are old yellow when the headlights are LED white. I want to get the daylight running lights the same colour. Previously bought some LED's that were apparently correct but when the garage came to fit them the plastic surround was too big.

I want to match the same colour of lights as the headlights.

Help please.

Welcome Jon and FON!

LED DRLs - you need to Message 'Trups' on here - he manufactures DRL cancellers so you don't get a dashboard error and the LED to go with it.

In fact, he does a complete LED makeover for the B7 - any LED is an almost must mod and makes the exterior nd interior lights much cleaner.

Speak to Trups, he will sort out all your LED needs. I tried lots of different DRL bulbs and they all threw up errors. In the end I spoke to Trups and he sorted me out with a canceller so I kept my LEDs but stopped getting errors. He will sort you out with LEDs and anything else you might need (LED interior lights too?).

Head over to the link I posted above, scroll down and see his name in green on a 'thanks guys' post over on the right. Cluik on his green name and that will take you to a page were you can see his profile. It will say PM: contact Trups and then click that send him a message.

The message you send will sit in your outbox until he reads it...

Just done mine very easy, 25w 10ohm resistor X2(£3.00) solder some cable on either end and heat shrink then crimp onto the DRL cables on your light. Place in your LED lights and working with no warning light on dash.
