We will probably be able to meet you as we come off the m1, then convoy in from there if that's ok with whoever would like to convoy.
Ryan - that sounds perfect - I'll PM my mobile number if that helps?

A.I.T.P - Weather

Post by sync24 » Fri Aug 08, 2014 8:03 pm

All - you probably have heard/seen the weather forecast for Sunday - it's looking pretty poor at the moment. HOWEVER - I am still planning on going - I have a pitch booked for Saturday evening for camping so I can be there first thing to set up the pitch ETC which is still sized for around 30 cars.

Now comes the BUT, if there is still very poor weather forecast for Sat EVE I will ding out the camping and will pay very close attention to the weather movements for Sunday into Saturday night- I'll even get hold of the staff at Billing to get their opinion if I have to. If it's going to be chucking down on Sunday then I doubt I will be going. If the bad weather looks like it's not going to materialise then I'll be up early on Sunday and planning on getting there around 0830.

If anything else changes - I'll post an update

Of all weekends .......

Sound plan Kev - I'm all for flying the flag and all that, but indeed if it's looking like torrential rain and gales along with travel impacted, I doubt I may make the trip too.

Ever the optimist I have everything crossed....

Weather... Gutted.
Spent all day polishing the car and making her shiny... seems pointless if the weather reports are accurate.
