Are people running the new stage 2 tune have a Milltek fitted? Any issues with the fabrication quality or sound? Do the decat pipes add any drone particularly at motorway speeds? I've kind of jumped straight down the Milltek route because (a) I had 1 on my old C5 and was happy with that and (b) that's what MRC have proposed.

The only hesitancy or reservations from YouTube videos are that the back boxes seem to be quite visible below the tips unlike OEM which are squared off and they seem to protrude quite out of the rear valence quite a bit.

I guess I'm looking for re-assurance from the collective that I'm not wasting a couple of grand on an exhaust without exploring other options out there.

Oh and apologies I seem to have kidnapped this thread somewhat ... in my defence Amar's original post is what provided the inspiration and pushed me off the fence to get something sorted

I had a stage 2 with milltek and supersprint decat and I did get drone between 75 and 85 mph which meant that I couldn't really sit on these speeds ( I'll let you guess which side of that range I would normally choose !!).

I was not entirely happy with the build quality TBH, so I removed it and sold it. I still have some photos somewhere of it removed if you want me to PM them to you to check out the quality.

The back boxes are more visible than OEM, and you are right, protrude slightly more.

I went to a custom build, which was slightly more expensive, but with the right engineering, removed any drone. There a few on here have done the same.

My advice would be to go and see some of the options, check out the sound and the quality, then make a decision. A little effort, but time well invested to be happy with the result.
