Got to say the performance figures are quite mind blowing. Yes I know there's always something faster, corners quicker, etc., but for a car that does everything from a visit to the dump to family holiday to keeping supercars honest it is a remarkable feat of engineering. Must feel good sliding "over 700 bhp ... oh and a 1000Nm of torque" into a conversation

Yes, the MRC updated stage-2 is a bargain in terms of power for money. You can go for more but then you're entering into big money. Just been out in the 6 and it really frightens me with it's sheer ease of power especially after driving a normal aspirated car all day.

You won't regret getting it done.

Sorry for late reply... I totally missed your msg... the answer is YES I had my gearbox internals uprated including a change of torque convertor to handle the now 1200 nm that I have.

I had to adjust my mind to cope with all the extra power when I came from my stage two tuned C5 RS 6, to the stage two tuned C6 RS 6... I'm now having to do it all over again.

On the old filters and map, it made 715.1PS and 934NM, with version 2 MRC filters, (developed for the stage three 860BHP+ cars.) and a map tweak it went to 754.3PS and 1021NM, Doug reckons it will do more on a cooler engine, but it had been on the dyno having the map adjusted for around two hours and it was 28 degrees outside.

If your map is a few years old (one of the sub 1000nm maps) they've updated it since then, get it booked in... The difference is >>>  

Edit: The 1021NM now comes in @ 3823 RPM vs 934 @ 5572 on the old map.

Good power! When he tweaked my map! It came out at 758bhp with 1040nm

V10, NOT picking on you or anything but I'm a bit lost here so help me out.... Your newly tweaked stage-2 PS and Torque numbers against your old have discrepancies. I recall you had more than 715 PS and 934NM from your old signature from the original MRC stage-2 tune but those numbers are produced before the maps are tweaked. Interesting!!!
