That's exactly what I had in mind, bought one a few weeks ago to try, but haven't had to time to do anything yet. Could you do a write up on this? Was it simply drilling two holes?
Basically yes. 2 x 10mm. Here a pic:

a faultless 400 miles on the kubelwagen today for a trip up to Yorkshire to go to car meet from my "old" forum home!
Didn't get any photos myself but a friend grabbed a couple. Scrubs up ok!

Thanks very much! The grille I sprayed myself and it's come up remarkably well for a rattle can job. Very pleased! Now just waiting on my carbon stuff from Argon to set it off

Thanks! Well, California law requires it, but I just can't bear myself to do it! I do have the Rare Earth magnets on my plate so I can slap it on when I'm parked on the street.

Only one small niggle the steering wheel is on the wrong side might be a factory fault im sure you can get it fixed though
looks nice the rear looks purposeful
