I have had a DMS remap, and Akropovic full exhaust system fitted. Just ordered KW3's and some spacers. Getting my wheels changed to a different colour, am still keen to change them to Bentley GTC 20" 3 piece rims but unsure at this stage. I do like the look for the supercharger kit but again the car is still quite new and you need that Audi warranty for now.

On the new RS6 you can get Carbon mirrors, does anyone know if you can get any for ours?

You're much more likely to need the warranty for a suspension issue than an engine issue.

I've had the KW coilover suspension fitted to the B8 RS4 for a couple of months now and I recommend it wholeheartedly. I made the decision that I would be prepared to foot the bill for any damage to the suspension so the voided warranty isn't a problem. Insurance premium increased by £11.

Car now sits 10mm lower on offside and 20mm lower on nearside (front) and about 5mm lower at rear (both sides); more importantly, it sits absolutely level. mm adjustment can be achieved without removing wheels at front; just need the OEM jack to raise it enough to get the adjustment spanner in. Adjustment of the rear will prove a little more difficult but I'm happy with the height as it is.

Car feels more planted though ride quality is marginally stiffer; you can feel every minute undulation in the road but this isn't a problem for me.

I take it your car doesn't have lane assist?
Can you post a pic up please, also have you fitted wheel spacers?

Car does have lane assist and seems to be working fine.

Haven't fitted spacers & don't intend to; I like the "tucked" look with the OEM V spokes. With it as low as it is, I would think that anything above 8mm in rear would cause rubbing under load.

I'll post up some pics when I've washed the car but for a general idea, this RS4 caught on Autogespot has definitely been lowered and sits about 10mm lower than mine at moment. I'm pretty sure that it doesn't use spacers either.

Yeah, little bit too low IMHO. Mine's in between that and stock.

Should do I reckon, got to make the most of the warranty before I supercharge it, that is on the to do list for sure, and will be done, then it will be a very special motor
If there was a like button on this forum I would be pressing it right about now :)

Hi N7BSE

Would be interested to hear your impressions on the DMS remap. The Dyno figures on their website look to be exactly what I after ( more torque) but not sure if it can achieve that much of an increase.

Before anyone comments, I'm in Melbourne , so can't get to MRC!!, but have asked them if they can do a remote tune , but suspect that its not possible.

There is a DMS agent quite close to me

Would love an Akropovic exhaust but as Marz said they are $9k in Aus, Milltek is more reasonable at $3.8k.

So it's a big expense for no performance gain just valet mode and no warranty?
When you take it in to Audi, then switch it to "stock" mode. I know a few people with the APR tune on their S4's and said that Audi did not pick it up when they took it in for a std. service.

You can get carbon mirror housings from OSIR in the US.

They look to be the best full housings I've seen. Tempted to
order myself to finish off the black out look around the windows.

Yep sure am.

Akrakpovic and APR is my preference, but i would like to know a bit more about this DMS remap.

Looks like DNA performance, in Burwood, i think? might be the place to get it all done.

Nearly, I'm on the other side of town, but is also an APR dealer, DMS agent.

DMS dyno gains look better (more torque increase which is what I'm after) that the APR ones, so really after some info re what's what.
