Anyone supercharged their car yet?

Post by carsarecool » Tue May 13, 2014 7:09 am

I was thinking of a milltek but is it really worth it? re: the power Audi have over warrantied cars seems to be getting more and more stringent......fair enough I guess as they are in the business of making money.

You should be fine with an exhaust, but if you had an engine failure it's a reasonably easy mod to reverse...supercharger, I would leave that for when your warranty has expired.

Plus, ourselves and Milltek would back you 100% if audi were to blame an exhaust for a non related failure....always found them pretty fair and they warranted a new engine on my B7 with a Milltek fitted.
Last month of the extended warranty too....gulp!

Mmmmm, I am still tempted and I guess you could get the exhaust swapped back if required.

How much is a Milltek for a B8?

If it wasn't for my extended warranty, I would do this now!!if I keep the car long enough this is definitely on the cards, maybe one can be taken along to the next box hill meet? That way we can see what it's all about :beerchug:

Yeah, yeah, I knew that, lol

Does look a top bit of kit, would be interesting to see it against a tuned C7 RS6 given the weight differences, etc.

I'll get my coat now and p**s off back to the B7 section... :<beep>_you:

B8 torque going to be constrained by the DSG gearbox. C7 will always the upper hand here.
